Sleight of hand of former hero Murali Mohan ?
-Jinka Nagaraju
When every inch of farmers' land has been taken to build Amaravti capital, I wonder as to how the the lands of hero of yester years and realtor-turned-MP Murlimohan escpaed government's land acquisition or land pooling. We have not read any news that he had offered his lands to the government voluntarily under land pooling schemes. One can argue that he land doesn't fall in the CRDA area. This is exactly my question and the suspicion many leaders that the CRDA was so developed that lands of big fish are spared from the borders of CRDA. When Muralimohan purchased these lands? Did CRDA exclude the village where our Rajamahendravarm MP purchased lands? People will know the answers in due course.
As of now, Murali Mohan is going to reap early bird advantages of real estate business in Amaravati areaa. The State Environment Impact Assessment Authoirty (SEIAA) has granted environmental clarance for 1.27 lakh sq.m built-up area project at Kunchanapalli in capital area. The SEIAA approved the recommendations of State Environmental Appraisal Committee with regards to the MP's Jayabheri Properties venture of residential plots in Kunchanapalli of Tadepalli mandal Guntur district. Tadepalli is the in heart of capital region. The project is coming up in 2.775 ha. The village is very close to AP capital area.
